As a replacement for vulcanized rubber, we can manufacture articles in thermoplastic elastomers. A big advantage of this is that the material is recyclable! Below we give some examples of common materials.

Thermoplastic elastomers (TPE, TPU, EVA PP/EPDM, SEBS)

These materials can be recycled, dyed and processed like any other thermoplastic.

TPE

  • Low price
  • Low density (unfilled varieties)
  • Food and medical technology approvals

SEBS

  • Allround-material
  • Static applications
  • Suitable for outdoors

TPU

  • Very good wear resistance
  • High chemical resistance
  • A good complement when TPE
    cannot replace vulcanized rubber

PP/EPDM

  • Dynamic applications
  • Good temperature properties
  • Suitable for outdoors

EVA

  • Low material cost and density
  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • Hinge properties
