Nonwoven PETconsists of polyester fiber that has been bonded together with heat. It is a material with multiple adaptations, ranging from light comfort and acoustic materials to construction materials with high workability.
Polyester constitutes the largest raw material for textiles globally and is the best established textile raw material for circular material flows. Our One Polymer Solution uses nonwoven PET as an important part of our waste-free manufacturing.
Qualities and characteristics

- Very good sound dampening properties against airborne noise
- Generally good thermal stability even above 100 degrees Celsius. Ask us for advice on the right designs and limit values. Also, good stability in low temperatures below -40 degrees Celsius
- Self-extinguishing fire properties in the right designs
- Porous and self-drying with low moisture absorption
- Insensitive to mold, does not give rise to allergens, does not cause dust, completely user-safe
